Getting to Nuremberg Airport
Nuremberg Airport (NUE) is located just around six kilometres north of the city centre, making it one of the most easily accessible airports in Germany. Whether by U-Bahn, car or bus – from Nuremberg, Fürth, Erlangen and all of northern Bavaria, you reach the terminal in no time. One terminal, short distances: the journey from your mode of transport to check-in is pleasantly straightforward.
By U-Bahn U2 – the fastest connection
The most convenient way to get there is by U-Bahn line U2:
- From Nuremberg Central Station you travel in just twelve minutes directly to the airport.
- The U2 runs every ten minutes during the day – with no changes.
- The U-Bahn stop is located directly at the terminal forecourt.
By car via the A3
By car you reach Nuremberg Airport quickly via motorway A3 (Frankfurt–Nuremberg) as well as via the Frankenschnellweg and the well-signposted urban motorways.
Parking at the terminal
- Directly in front of the terminals is the short-stay car park P5 (first 15 minutes free of charge).
- For longer stays there are cheaper long-stay car parks.
By bus and taxi
- Various bus routes and night buses connect the airport to the Nuremberg network.
- Taxi ranks are located directly in front of the terminal.
